Today I launched a new website. It is a combination of two things: 1) A portfolio site to act as the one link that I give people who are interested in my work. 2) My main blog.
The new site is here: http://davewalker.cc and the new blog is here: http://davewalker.cc/blog
I have explained why I am moving in this post: Why another new website?
So, what will happen to this blog on CartoonChurch.com? For now I will continue to use it for CartoonChurch updates, though if you just follow the new blog you will not miss anything. I may close it down, perhaps when I update CartoonChurch.com, which is on my list of things to do. Whatever happens I intend for the archives to remain online somewhere.
I will (technology allowing) be moving the Feedburner and Feedblitz feeds over to the new account, so if you use one of them then you should still get updates. Otherwise you can resubscribe using the RSS feed, or get email updates via the email box in the right hand column of the new blog.
My davewalkercartoons.com site, which has acted as my portfolio site over the last year or so, has been closed and should new redirect to the new site.

I’m pleased to say that my 2014 calendar is now available. Yes, after a break of one year there are calendars again.
It contains cartoon favourites rather than new material, but does include a number that have not yet appeared in any of my books.
It is priced £6.99 and is available from Church House Bookshop (ignore the cover image on that page) or Amazon UK. Other places to get one might include local Christian bookshops or the Greenbelt Festival.

This cartoon is entitled Pruning. Click that link for the high resolution version that licence-holders can put in church magazines and places like that.
I’m not much good at gardening, but I did prune my office a bit last night. The paperwork grows rapidly in the springtime and one needs to cut it back.
Bonus drawing: a pruning cartoon I did in 2006.
