It may seem silly to you, but well, such it was. I serve as Lay Reader now; I had to be taught how to do chalice service without slopping all over people... How bishops adn priests get taught, I have no idea... maybe you could do some cartoon on that sort of learning process? It is exactly because I have no idea, that I look forward to your visualization of it... And there are more things one had to learn when you coem to the Church of England: how to find your way through the hymnbooks, when to stand wehn to stand during the service; the worse for me was how to sing a psalm..what with the marks in the text, what do they mean? how many syllables go into one note, one line? The worse is that the other memebers of the congregation barely realise that one has to learn ll this; for them it seems to be so self evident, born bred adn raised in the briar as it were. I hope you may find soem inpsirtion in this learning process? All the best adn keep up th eblog, creative or not; your sover observations are gpood enough to me!
