Adaptors

IMG_2537

These are the travel adaptors I won in the Hymns Ancient and Modern staff Christmas raffle. As you can see there is one adaptor, and then another adaptor with another adaptor. Thereby making a total of three adaptors.

My life was very limited before I had these adaptors. I very rarely visited Europe, India or parts of Brazil because I had no idea whether I would be able to plug my electrical devices in when I got there. On the rare occasions that I did visit Europe, India or parts of Brazil I certainly didn’t dare take more than one electrical device with me. But now I will be able to visit Europe, India or parts of Brazil freely, knowing that I will be able to use electrical devices without fear of incompatibility. Thank you Hymns Ancient and Modern!

Socket to ‘em, Dave. You are now a man of the world, and plugged in to the zeitgeist!

  2. chris clark says:

It poses the profound question …to adapt or not to adapt? Is conservatism a good or bad thing…. or…should we just wait until the whole world adopts our plugs and sockets as they surely should?

  3. Liz from the sewing room says:

Dave, have you considered a loan for these to help other people who are unable to travel to Europe, India or parts of Brazil? I am sure this is the good Christian thing to do. I am tempted to suggest an addition to Matthew 25 v 36 “when I was powerless you lent me an adaptor”. But that is probably blasphemous and anyway, most people won’t get the powerless joke.
