Liverpool photos

Royal Liver Building

Over the last few days we’ve been in the City of Liverpool. A ‘mini break’, one might call it. I know, the first you’ve heard of it, but events in 2012 mean that I have come to an even more definite conclusion that telling the internet about being away is not something one should do.

So, Liverpool. A lovely city, and one that has changed a huge amount since I was last there, 20 years ago. I’ll write more about one or two of the things we did, but in the meantime there are some my photographs on Flickr, here: Flickr set / Slide show.

Liverpool is a lovely city, and the loveliest thing about it are its loving generous people. When we were living down south, I used to love to hear a Liverpool accent, it made my day. Am now in Manchester, which is nice, but it isnt Liverpool.

Brilliant pictures! Can’t believe these were only taken with a point and shoot!

You’ve got a great eye for composition.

I hope you’re monetising your photography skills!

Thanks David. The Canon S95 really is a superb camera. Especially for photos in low light (which in my case tends to be quite a large percentage of pictures).

Monetising – wouldn’t know how to go about it…

Lovely pictures and really pleased you had a good break – I totally agree with you about not advertising absences in advance. Hope you come back soon.
