Cartoon exhibitions
This (above) is a picture from one I did in Southminster the other week. I paid some members of the public to look interested. I’m very willing to come and talk and/or exhibit cartoons elsewhere – contact my agent for details. Or, upon discovering that I don’t have one, contact me.

Christian Marketplace review
Another very kind review of the book, this time in Christian Marketplace magazine by (I assume) Clem Jackson. I particularly enjoyed: “If you have friends who think church is dull and boring… then this might just settle their minds once and for all”. Church Times cartoon award
The Church Times is probably the most cartoon-friendly publication in the UK (besides Private Eye), and it is their support that has enabled me to do what I do. I’m pleased therefore that they have been recognised by the Professional Cartoonists Association, an organisation that I might have joined had I been better with paperwork.     Well done on making it to the short list for the awards. My money is on you to win, but it’s a pretty competitive category. Perhaps I should start a book!?

    That’s kind of you to say, Mouse, but I think it all depends what they are looking for. You and I, for instance, are doing really quite different things. You’re having to run between keyboard keys for one thing (unless you have a mouse-sized keyboard).

    Are you going to be able to get to the conference? (I really mean ‘are you going?’ rather than enquiring about transport difficulties…)

    Not going to the conference, although it looks really good.

    My keyboard difficulty is actually not what you would imagine. I borrowed mine from a spider, so ironically it’s rather too small.

    Conference, yes; drink; yes. Shame that the Jerusalem Tavern is closed at weekends & that folk don’t rate the Slaughtered Lamb, there’s the Three Kings in Clerkenwell. (Now I’m starting to think about a religiously themed London pub crawl for another day…)

    Well I am too stunned to sew, being a good Methodist girl! Betting and pub crawls!!! When I was a teenager, the manse teenagers werent allowed to play cards on a Sunday – and we are talking snap here, not poker or bridge.

    On the other hand, the first time I went into a pub with the manse teenagers.

    But I have to be careful what I say. I think someone has guessed who I am. Not that I am admitting anything.

    Sara – I think we need a pub with a religious and internet theme.

    Liz – I too am often too stunned to sew. I really like that phrase by the way. I may start to use it in everyday life.
