The ecclesiastical research labs

ecclesiastical research labs

This image is a small extract from my cartoon ‘The ecclesiastical research labs’, more of which can be seen as the background to my Twitter page.

The full version can be found in my 2011 calendar, which is entitled ‘Church HQ’. It shows some of the unseen central workings of the Church, of which the ecclesiastical research labs are a vital component. The cover image is below. At the risk of sounding a bit like a desperate salesperson it is, I think, my favourite out of all of the calendars I have done so far.

2011 calendar

The calendar can be ordered through Church House Bookshop, on Amazon, direct from Canterbury Press, or by quoting ISBN 9781848250147 can be ordered through most bookshops.

  1. Maddy says:

Love the emergency flower response – I can think of a whole flock of people who could be direct beneficiaries of that one.

  2. Richard Littledale says:

Wonder what you might fuel the sermon writing machine with? Burning the notes of old sermons, perhaps?

  3. Stuart Elliott says:

Dave, why such a desperate plea? You know all good Christmas shoppers leave things to the last minute, and your calendar is the backbone of every ‘good-christian-christmas-wish-list’.

  4. Dave says:

Stuart, Thank you – that is most kind. I’m perhaps targetting the good-but-forgetful Christians / shoppers who hadn’t remembered what the backbone of their wish list was.
