Husband and I are loving your cartoons at Greenbelt. This one is fantastic… apart from it is spelled Tewkesbury!
Claire, Thank you – most kind.
Spelling mistake now corrected – thanks to those who alerted me to it in various ways.
Wonderful, Dave!!
Fresh back from Greenbelt, I wondered if you’d ever been cheeky enough to cartoon the GB ‘types’ I’ve been spotting all weekend?
You know, the older couple with sandals, rainbow trousers and GB t-shirts dating back to the 70s; the perma-tanned teenagers in their spotty wellies and hotpants or the trendy thirty-somethings with heavy rimmed glasses and Howies hoodies, who can’t quite believe they’re now parents…
Go on – we’re all crying out to be insulted… ;o)
Great cartoon
Especially like the “thistles”!
Wonderful!
Thank goodness you didn’t find out about the Greenbelter who only discovered where the campsite loos were late on the Monday night. (blush)

Thought you might like to draw this particularly funny “Greenbelt Moment”. Just as the gates were about to open on Friday I spotted a muddy patch developing by the track crossing, so called up control to see if someone could pop by with a couple of buckets of chippings to solve the problem. Only I was mis-heard – someone thought I asked for a couple of buckets of CHICKENS!!
