Fantasy Tour de France

I’m doing the Fantasy Tour de France at road.cc if anyone wants to join me. Just a bit of fun now that I’m knocked out of my own world cup sweepstake (how is everyone else doing?).

If you do sign up feel free to join me in my league – it is number 1577, entitled ‘tour de france expert punditry’, though I think you just need the number. No expert punditry is required I must add.

Outreach cartoon

outreach

We are witnessing history being made here my friends. A fourth cartoon in as many days – this is unheard of in the modern era.

Click through to CartoonChurch.com – Outreach to see a marginally bigger version along with details about how one goes abut using it in a parish magazine etc.

Once again this diagram is taken from ‘My Pew: Things I have seen from it‘, published by Canterbury Press. Originally it appeared in the Church Times as part of my ‘Guide to the Church’ series.

Feel free to discuss your favourite outreach methods in the comments below.

Cartoon: Furniture

furniture cartoon

Today’s cartoon is called Furniture – click the link for the high resolution version and instructions on what you can do with it. Once again it is from the My Pew book, available in the smallest room of many vicarages.

I don’t know about publishing this one in the church magazine – it might upset the youth group. Then again perhaps you want to upset the youth group. They’ll be fine – they are young.

I seem to be a putting up a cartoon a day. I don’t know how long this will continue. But thanks for dropping in anyway. If you’re new here you can follow the blog via the feed (orange thing on the right hand side) Twitter, Facebook (bit unreliable) or iPhone. And before you go please do take a leaflet about how you can volunteer on the rotas and how to giftaid your collection money. Thank you.
