Outreach cartoon

outreach

We are witnessing history being made here my friends. A fourth cartoon in as many days – this is unheard of in the modern era.

Click through to CartoonChurch.com – Outreach to see a marginally bigger version along with details about how one goes abut using it in a parish magazine etc.

Once again this diagram is taken from ‘My Pew: Things I have seen from it‘, published by Canterbury Press. Originally it appeared in the Church Times as part of my ‘Guide to the Church’ series.

Feel free to discuss your favourite outreach methods in the comments below.

[...] Another bit of genius from Dave Walker [...]

Love the cartoon – but hey! – one unevangelised individual turning up would be counted as a massive success in most churches!!

I think the person on the stage is so moved by the drama that the counsellors should move in. have H+S looked at the tract drop, paper cuts look like a real danger to me. The fuzzy felt presumably is from the liberal wing to go with the fuzzy thinking :-) .

Basically all excellent ideas though as we are tired of fresh expressions and we need to get back to our roots.

Thanks Dave. Love this cartoon. Contains so much truth that its funny AND it hurts! My mother`s church in an ex-colliery village do an evangelistic coffee morning once a month, about 500 yards from the biggest ASDA store & restaurant you `ve ever seen.
    Bless `em God.

Another insightful cartoon from Mr W – again!

How come ‘reching out to the nations’ became so insular?
