    Dave, another idea you might want to exploit as a cartoon in the current weather is the dilemma for churches on what they spread on the paths to help keep people vertical: salt (no supplies), grit (run out), sand (messy), rice (no good when wet), sherbert pips (children will keep eating them), crushed seashells (only seaside parishes) etc
