Cartoon: Nine lessons learned at the carol service

Hello. The first of two cartoons I’ve just posted in the new cartoons section of CartoonChurch.com. This is Nine lessons learned at the carol service, which originally appeared in the Church Times last December or so. A higher resolution version that you can read is available on that page. If you’d like to publish it there are instructions on buying a licence to do so.

I’m aware that this comes too late for people wanting cartoons for their parish magazines etc. I’m sorry about that. I admit to being a shambles.

    Ann – It is a substance used by flower arrangers to make flowers stand up. It could be that ‘Oasis’ is a trade name used in the UK and that it is called ‘flower support foam’ or somesuch elsewhere.

    I haven’t laughed so much in a long time (sad I know!), thanks so much for this Dave. I sang in a Church choir for 20 years and it is so true about carols / words. An occassion with The Bethlehem Carol sheet springs to mind; the choir had one edition and the congregation had another one! So not just the different words but different carols too sometimes!

    You could add a tenth lesson: if choristers are involved, one of them will invariably faint.
