Youthwork conference cartoons

I’ve done some cartoons for Youthwork the Conference in order to attract people to their event which is coming up in November. Here is a sample which makes no sense out of context – the links to the full cartoons are below.

mingle like a youthworker

1. Things that you can do at Youthwork the Conference

2. How to go to Youthwork the Conference

If you know anyone who does youthwork then you could tell them about this conference. It is in Eastbourne which is quite idyllic in its own way.

Interesting. I haven’t seen the words “Youthwork” and “idyllic” in the same paragraph before; at least you haven’t put them in the same sentence!!

  2. Chris Clark says:

I think you could have another one where Youth Workers tell one another of training days and other conferences that are on.

It seems the conference is a weekend which includes Sunday which seems to be the one day of the week when churches know what to do with the Youth Worker …perhaps the Youth workers could have special calender making it appear in the middle of the week?

Don’t get me wrong Youth Work is vital and great, just not sure FT Youth Workers are the best way forward. Perhaps more of them should become cartoonists :-)

I am going to the youth work conference. In the mean time your cartoons really made me laugh, thank you!

  4. Liz says:

Even out of context it makes sense…but that’s probably because I’m a youth worker…

Love both of them, which I have received in the post with other publications and they are now on my wall!

Are we going to see the Love your Youthworker post cards again this year at the conference?

  5. David Keen says:

Any chance of a cartoon of the Pope? He doesn’t have to be doing anything, I would just love to see how you do him!!

Or a ‘how to tell the difference between the Pope and the Archbishop of Canterbury’ for people in the CofE who are having trouble working out which one is head of their church….

  6. Lynda Patterson says:

Its all in the facial hair, I believe…
