Thanks for reposting those. I'd forgotten about them and they're are absolutely brilliant; I agree with Phil that the "Anglican Convenant" bit is particularly inspired; and I laughed an awful lot at the introduction to "The Panel of Reference".

You summed up the situation well, you made me laugh and you raised some good points. Good job!

Very good cartoons, and how true. But if someone is going to mess things up ask a Christian. In the grey corner we have the Do Not Question The Bible, Your Pastor/Bishop/Vicar/Rector*, Conservative Evangelical team and in the Pink Corner the Liberal Just Worry About God's Love and Forget Sin team. Neither brings unity and neither truly practices what they preach. In the meantime the rest of us in the Anglican Church try and be salt and light to the world. After the last Lambeth Conference my fear is this one is just going to decend into a circus act crossed with a slanging match. I hope I'm wrong but....

Nice one, Dave: seems to sum things up splendidly... especially trashing (oops - sorry: recycling) Jesus' prayer for unity.

Are you going to blog the new diocesan age discrimination policies of London & Chelmsford? You know: "All Age Worship (under 58's only)". Apparently being called by God is no longer relevant to Anglican vocation: it's a question of how old you are; or is it that God only calls the under-58's? Please don't tell Noah or Abraham...
