Drawing

strike when iron hot

This drawing was lying around so I thought I’d post it.

Disclaimers: (a) I know it is supposed to be ‘while’, not ‘when’. (b) The person is a generic person, not me. (3) He hasn’t got two thumbs – that’s just the way the light is shining on your screen.

Life here in the ’studio’ continues to be a bit frantic, hence the lack of new pictures of this sort on the blog. I’m doing lots of cartoons, but they are for use elsewhere. The next month will unfortunately continue to be this way, but from the middle of April there should start to be a bit more variety here on the blog. Thanks for your patience.

That gives me an idea, Dave. Illustrating the entire book of Proverbs would keep you busy for a good while yet. You don’t have to do them in any particular order, of course. So, when do you start?

    Exciting! Good to hear it.

  3. Steve Hearn says:

Dave, great to know your keeping busy! Rock on my friend…!

  4. Graham Kings says:

It seems to me, Dave, that you usually strike while the irony is hot…

  5. ED says:

Never mind the two thumbs, what’s that weird stump on the other side? Did a shark bite the other hand off?

  6. Jael says:

Extreme Ironing – Ed! That’s perhaps what this guy has been up to, which would explain a shark attacking the other hand :-)
(Yes there is a ’sport’ called Extreme Ironing. . . I think it started as a clever ploy by Australian or New Zealand mothers who were sick of their teenage boys leaving clothes lying around the house . . . )
