I am glad you are coming clean about potential conflicts of interest. We on the C of E Standards in Public Life committee want you to spend all your time worrying about whether you are, have been, or will be corrupted by financial mal-practice. This way you will have less time to be creative which is what we aim to achieve. We find your work neither homorous nor perceptive and hope that in future you will get a proper job as lawyer or accountant so that you can join us on this side of the table.

Looks a good read, Dave. Two other more in-depth titles well worth investigating if you're serious about improving your church publicity and communication are:

100 Ways to get your church noticed (Kingsway) - Neil Pugmire
How to be heard in a noisy world: church publicity made easy (Authentic) - Phil Creighton

I know both authors and they're excellent journalists and communicators, so I guess I'm declaring an interest, too.

Disclosure of financial benefit? Don't be daft. The Dave Walker guide to Church might be a reasonable money earner but it depends on your definition of reasonable and we, your fans and readers can see the link and some - dare i say many of us want to support you. A cartoon in a £3 grove booklet dare I opine isn't going to let you retire in the near future.
