They are just so greedy and focussed on selling as much as possible they don't even think that pushing trolleys around crowded aisles and bumping into things and people while getting hot and cross would make people unhappy. In fact they are so focussed on how to sell more they don't even think what it might be like for the poor shopper. That's what greed does. I don’t think they want to make anyone unhappy.

All that sensory overload makes me just dash for the two or three non-holiday things I needed and make a run for it! Which ain't easy, because all that extra stuff in the aisles, combined with the extra shoppers, makes the shopper trolleys (shopping carts) dangerous hazards. It takes only one to block up everything. Oh please God let me be able to get through these two days of the week end without having to go to the shop! (Except for that bulb of fennel I forgot to get yesterday. drat.) The shops are shooting themselves in the foot.
