For example: 1. Write a list. 2. Tick this box when you've read through list. 3. Check Dave Walker's Cartoonblog. That way you end up with a good number of ticks on your list within the first few minutes (depending on how long you spend on the Cartoonblog). It looks as if you're getting somewhere and you feel much better about things. ALSO - don't put 'Tidy Office' that's akin to saying 'avert global warming by tea-time). Instead try: 1. Clear coffee cups from office. 2. Clear that teetering pile of junk mail off the top of the cat. 3. Empty waste paper bin. And, so long as you haven't brought any more coffee cups into the office in the interim, that's three more ticks. Easy isn't it?
