Greetings! I lead the Anglican Community in Second Life that presently has around 230 members and growing. We have services each sunday and are in the process of starting Bible studies and social activities. It is still early days, but we are finding this is meeting a need within the burgeoning social network environment of SL. But also, and this is key, many such as Bill Gates, see the next step of internet development as being from the present 2D to the 3D virtual. So I am attempting to position the church amidst the development, rather than playing catch up as is the case with much of the chronically late adopting that happens around the church.

There was a link but what it took me to didn't seem to be a Christian thing.

I am now even more confused about the purpose of the advert but perhaps it is trying to attract people who like Second Life to Christianity although I am not sure how, but perhaps there will be new improved links in the future. I've never really seen the point of Rejesus anyway - or perhaps I just don't agree with the point.

Never heard of Second Life - at least on Facebook you can only waste lots of time being yourself, not that I do, of course. ;)

Karin - there is no link. Second life is an alternative internet existance programme thingy where lots of people waste lots of time pretending to be someone else. This advert is trying to link into those people.

My first reaction was agggggg

Not sure what it's about. It looks American and commercial. Couldn't see any obvious link with Chrisitianity at http://secondlife.com/ which I arrived at after clicking the link from http://www.secondlifechance.co.uk/
