John Davies: Walking the M62

walking the m62

John Davies has now begun his two month walk along the approximate route of the M62 motorway. You can follow his travels on his M62 walk blog here. I have mentioned this before, but thought I’d mention it again as a reminder now he has started.

This post explains why he is doing it. Do add the blog to your feed reader and send him an encouraging comment every now and then.

The above diagram is not to scale so do not use it for navigational purposes.

Yes, I was aware of this, thanks Dave but you made me think to add the feed to my blog. Maggi Dawn has also mentioned John on her blog. You can’t help admire someone who decides to spend every day walking for 2 months, can you?

Thanks for your encouragements Dave. Actually that’s a pretty accurate diagram and having superimposed it over a Multimap image of Northern England I discern that the arrow is placed virtually over the town of Otley, where I anticipate enjoying a couple of days off-route at the beer-and-Folk Festival halfway through my journey.
