Yesterday I received an announcement with great fanfare that their "New, improved" logos and badges were online and that I didn't need to do anything. I can't tell the difference between the new improved and the old unimproved. About a month ago they announced that they were increasing the charge for their credit card terminal services from $20 to $30 per month (US). They debited me accordingly. Last night they did this month's billing and only debited me the old $20. I don't know if something's broken or if they had a change of heart. It's a holiday weekend here. I'm going to wait til Tuesday to call them. I think they’re having problems this weekend. Otherwise, back when I used to use paypal, I remember you could use different codes for 'product', 'service' or 'donation'... the latter two, presumably, shouldn't generally need postage... Ebay put effective rates up a lot recently but as they have such a big presence it is hard for anybody else to get a foot in and be a serious competitor. I suspect the same applies to the paypaln side of things as they try and make more and more from each transaction.
