I look forward to cartoons about horses, perhaps what to do when a horse turns up at Church? This is something which has never previously troubled me, but I am now giving it some thought.

Happy wood-glueing

Thank you for the very helpful drawing of gluing two pieces of wood together. I'm sure this will help with some of the odd pieces of wood lying about the place. Please, Dave, could you draw how to put the folded newspaper under the shorter leg? I'm having trouble visualizing this.
(LMAO!!!!!!)

You need only trim one leg of the chair to make it stop wobbling. Or use three legged chairs from now on!!

Neil - my advice would be to buy some wood glue now. It will serve you well in the future.

Chris, Where possible I find a horse, bring it to the 'studio' and trace around it. Unfortunately thus far this has never been possible.

I am disappointed that you used a lightbox. I had always imagined you used a magic latern or one of the new fangled slide projectors. Shining an image on wall means you can put a piece of paper on the wall and trace round it...I understand that gives the artist a better connection with the real horse..better still I suppose would be a camera obscura..

Good luck with the gluing..I hope you don't become stuck up :-)
