If you bought the single for 'I love Chicken Pie' you even got a recipe for Chicken Pie - genius. I still using this recipie (see what I did there?) to this day. Thanks for the memories.

Thanks, John. I haven't been going to Greenbelt all that long - I never heard of it in my yoof, unfortunately. Mind you, I haven't heard of Jack White, either. I'll take your word that Leigh-on-Sea has a soul, perhaps I haven't seen it at it's best.

They are (if you are of a certain Greenbelt vintage) a famous band called ‘Famous Potatoes’. The soundtrack of our youth. Just as Jack White captures the soul of Detroit in his gem 'Hotel Yorba', so to FP fans the soul of Leigh-on-Sea is encapsulated in their classic 'I Love Chicken Pie'.

(Even though it would have been better if it had referenced seafood)

From what I've seen of Leigh-on-Sea the people who live there must need a lot to cheer them up, so arts and folk festivals are a good idea.

Dave, you do have at least one fairly local reader in myself, from Chelmsford. And I know just what you mean about working from home. But sadly I don't think I can make it to this art festival.
