This has been Monday

I am tired and morale is down 25-30% on the usual levels, so I am just posting links:

The Old Argued Cross
If you’ve enjoyed the posts here about Spring Harvest and UCCF and the like you might enjoy this song by John of Sprowston (posted in the comments below). Very good. Click the link and then click the picture. It is a bit under 2mb.

Noah’s Ark finished
The Dutch version. This is the website of it, mostly meaningless to me as I do not speak the language.

Blogs4God
Blogs4god was the main centre of Christian blogging back in the 2003-2005 sort of time or thereabouts. Dean is getting it going again – this is the story of why it failed and how it will be coming back.

Gospel Procession Video
Raspberry Rabbit of Scotland posted this. I gawped when I saw it. I suspect some of you may gawp too. There will be gawpers everywhere.

    Dave, Dave Dave…
I hear that kind of talk all day long in my practice. I count on you to boost me up after a long day. Now stop complaining that you cannot speak Dutch (I mean who can?) and go for a walk.

Better yet, drink a liter of water (no, not wine) and read today’s post at my blog. If wearing pink shirts can’t build up that morale of yours 30%, then just go to bed early and tomorrow will be a great new day!

See why I’m a wildly popular chiropractor?

God Bless you and I’m just kidding, I think Dutch is a beautiful language, if you don’t mind the spit.

    Ray

PS I’ve been meaning to add you to my blogroll for some time. Now that I have more that three readers maybe one of them will discover your talent and wit. Keep it up.

Maybe, in the spirit of the site that does Venn diagrams of well known songs, you could do a pie chart of what makes you up to 100% morale, and which bits are missing, or have been eaten by the animals on Noahs ark, or been found inconsistent with penal substitution and the UCCF doctrinal basis. Or not.

I’m as highly paid a therapist as Ray is a chiropractor.

  3. MadPriest says:

I’m having a similar at my blog but it’s our morals that are down 25 – 30% As you know they weren’t very high to begin with.

  4. joe says:

Morale at 20-30%? Luxury. When I were a lad… etc.

Maybe this morale thing is catching..

  5. Miffy says:

Your link to John’s song has raised MY morale if not my morals at least 25-30%. Thank you, thank you.

  6. Rob says:

The floggings will continue until morale improves.

  7. Mean Dean says:

Thanks for the link – the hittage sure improved my morale !-)

  8. Philip of Samaria says:

My morale jumped up a full 150 baysis points today when I realised I was not depressed just coming down with a head cold. Whopppee!

  9. Philip of Samaria says:

Just seen the news about John Browne of BP for telling a lie about his gat relationship he has lost £15M maybe..

Never mind the money – this is guy who has made BP from a no nothing brit oil co to one of the top world companies and actually has strong positive values to boot.

In the balance of sin this seems a tad OTT or maybe its a great warning and some kind of judegement (nah)?

  10. Serena says:

If morale is still down, this might help:
