Faithless, Bournemouth

faithless ticket

On Saturday we were fortunate enough to go and see Faithless at the Bournemouth International Centre. Brilliant brilliant brilliant. It really was very good.

Steve went to another of their concerts and posted this review and this one. I also discovered this blog entry by someone who was at the same concert as us.

Sorry to not post a more in-depth review, but I’m up to my knees in work this week.

I would need a lot of faith to spend £25 on any entertainment Dave :-)

  2. Neil says:

    Who was the special guest?

  3. Dave says:

Indeed. We don’t do it very often.

  4. ferijen says:

You were in Bournemouth on Saturday – you should have joined us all (shipmeet) for lunch!

    Glad you enjoyed though.

  5. Dave says:

Neil – It was Calvin Harris.

He wasn’t hugely to our liking. Perhaps it was because we (well, I) only knew the one song. But when Faithless came on it was clear they were in a different league.

  6. Dave says:

Ferijen – Indeed – We didn’t realise there was such a meet on until the last minute. Although in the event it would have been a bit complicated to join you for various fairly uninteresting reasons.

I did once attempt to churn out a trinitarian theology based upon the premise that ‘God is a DJ’…

  8. Dave says:

Would you care to elaborate Ash?

  9. birdie says:

Ooo how interesting – Mr Birdie and I saw them in Cardiff last night and were quite disappointed.

I’m planning to blog about it at some point so won’t say more here, although with the way things have been going lately I might not get around to it till next month!

    (We found Calvin Harris irritating.)

  10. Jack the Lass says:

[Old fart alert] Never heard of them.

  11. Unordered says:

(gasp) Faithless! I can’t believe you got to see them. I clicked on over when I saw the heading, but I didn’t actually think it would be about Faithless. I’ve got to go and listen to them.

  12. onemus says:

    Faithless! good

Dave- it’s all a bit tongue-in-cheek really, but here’s the link anyway…. it didn’t really work, but it was rather fun :o )
