Ideas (continued)

ideas

The thinking behind this drawing, if there is any, is that one needs to have all the different sizes of ideas. I tend to have too many of the big ideas: entirely new projects, websites etc. In a way the big ideas are the easy bit. Having all the medium and small ideas to make the big ideas a success is the more difficult bit.

Hi Dave, thanks for mentioning this. Hope to see you at another comics event some time and of course you must come to my book launch on April 12 at the Cartoon Museum. See Blaugustine for details but please email me and I’ll send you an invitation. I don’t how how I could have missed your blog before: you’re going on my blogroll as soon as I sort out some techy difficulties regarding posting to my blog now.

    Hi Dave

I’m wondering whether the fact that you are in another part of the country every weekend at the moment might at all contribute to said exhaustion at 1 mile bike ride, plus 810g of produce?

take it easy if you can.

    :-) Jody

    Yes, please look after yourself!

  4. Dave says:

    Thanks all.

Jody: The weekends in various places haven’t mostly happened yet, apart from last weekend. I am going to take things as easy as I can though.

When I started to read your tale of cycling to Tesco and the precise grammage of your produce I thought it was going to be one of those brain teasers of the “how many more grams of produce could Dave have fitted in his rucksack with x dimensions whilst travelling at 6.324 miles per hour on a 1:20 gradient with a mild prevailing wind” kind of thing. I would have had to have had a lie down myself if that had been the case. Hope you/the doc figure out what’s wrong soon.

    Nice cartoon.

BTW, Tesco (along with all supermarkets/malls) screws with my balance, coordination, etc., but then I have MS and migraines and fluorescent lights always vague me out, make me uncoordinated, make me dizzy, unbalance me…

If it was a hilly 1km bike ride I’m not surprised you felt that way, but if it’s flat it does sound like there is something wrong with you.

I hope the doctor manages to diagnose and treat it efficiently so you are back to yourself soon, Dave.

You really must take a few days off work until you’ve seen the doc and heard what he has to say – plus you’d better be exempt from household chores.

Now I’d best go ’cause I’m feeling a bit on the dazed, confused and wiped out side – more than normal ;) – but I know I just need a decent night’s sleep, last night haveing been a bit disturbed.

    Take care.
