I have no grand Lent plan, but I intend to turn a few more things off a bit more often.

Here are some Lent resources. There are of course millions of others.

    I planning to take things up this lent as well as give them up.

    I looking at the prayer, apostles teaching, breaking of bread and fellowship areas.

    Thanks Dave, It was because of you I am doing “Green Lent” – your post about Global Warming. (so see you are the problem, LOL). I am driving less – easier to do in a town of 6000, consolidating trips, and keeping the car tuned up. Another thing is a bigger commitment to recycling (harder to do as we don’t have much of a collection system here). More ideas for individuals, congregations and communities at my Green Lent.

    Great cartoon – very astute indeed. You are bringing good (sympathetic cartoons) out of your suffering. This and the previous one might suit WeBlogCartoons.

    Looks like Songs of Praise is on. Maybe it’s the haircut or jumper.

    Dave. I would love to use this cartoon on my blog but am having problems with the HTML.Keeps showing up as coding, not pic on the finished version. Could some kind and techinically minded person tell a poor, techincally challenged person what she’s doing wrong, please? Thanks.
