Essex has had a lot of snow overnight and this morning. Well, a lot of snow for this part of the world anyway. My wife had a call to say she didn’t have to go into work which is just as well as the drive would have been miserable. Meanwhile I have no excuse not to get on with things, but I am tempted to go for a walk and take some more pictures before it all melts this afternoon.

Despite all the hype, we have no snow in Swansea, which is very disappointing. As far as I can tell, we seem to be about the only place in Wales that hasn’t. It’s rained quite a lot though…
Ah Jacqui, there’s no snow in Glasgow either. It’s chuffin’ cold though. Brrrr.
Once again Yorkshire gets no snow while a light dusting makes the South East grind to a halt.
Why is it that when we lived in Surrey all the snow was sent north and now that we are there everything gets sent south!
lots of snow in maidenhead, made a snow man and everything! I’m soooo excited.
I missed work today..too slippy up the hill..which means I’m logged on at home, answering my mobile every 5… but the scenery is delightful. My 19 yr old twins made a snow man (yes why aren’t they at work..)with a carrot for a nose that the dog jumped up, snatched and ate.
