Discovering Jesus as a personal prescence makes it really hard to get really wound up about the hypocricies we all encrust the beauty of our faith with. Really! He found me – what have I got to say about my effort in all that?

Philip, are you British? If not you might not be aware of the themes dominating our news about the church and gay rights at the moment. It must be particulary painful for those who count gay/lesbian Christians and conservative Christians amongst their friends.
