While my laundry looks much like no. 6, there is an upside to this situation. My dresser drawers are ever so neat.

What - you have only one 'cleaned but not put away' basket? Slacker.

With one toddler and one baby, I have a record 5 baskets waiting to be sorted upstairs. Beat that! ;) Or better still, come round to my place and tidy up...

Next Gordon Brown will be on this web-site admitting that he is human and yes he too has more odd socks than pairs and they no longer line up neatly in his drawer but overflow the 'cleaned but not put away' basket..

You obviously don't have teenagers in your house...
Once in a blue moon, they 'tidy' their rooms. This involves grabbing armfuls of anything and everything that has been covering the floor, and cramming it into / onto laundry bin.

At one point in my life I could 'do the washing' once a week I'm sure. Now, one husband and two children later, if we leave it past 'every other day', then picture number 7 is pretty close to the truth!

This cartoon would also work with putting the bin out, something that is a constant battle in our house.......
