Christmas shopping

guide to the church box

Sarah ordered some of my books and found they arrived from SCM-Canterbury Press the next day.

Incidentally – is it only me who likes to send greetings to people via their referrer statistics? I thought so. You would say if I was turning into a geek wouldn’t you?

    What a good idea!

I mean the referrer thingy, not buying your book for Christmas.

Although in all honesty it is on my Christmas list.

  2. Michelle says:

Hehe… never tried that before! I have sent you greetings by referral Dave… though it only seemed to work when I said hi from Michelle, not Chelley.

  3. Sarah B says:

Coool! If only I had time in my hectic youthwork schedule to remember to look at my referrererer (how many Rs???) stats. Hehe! Unfortunately mine only stores the last 10 so I have to act quickly as I totally didn’t today and missed that one but I did just follow the link itself and make it say hey to me… Ok I think we’re both turning into geeks!

  4. Sarah B says:

Actually that has just made me worried. If the things people are typing into Google are MESSAGES to me… some people are VERY weird and say some decidedly odd things to me.

  5. Emma says:

    I don’t understand!!

  6. Sarah B says:

Emma if you click on the “send greetings to people” link in the post it might help. Or it might confuse you further. The former teacher in me says “Explain what you DO understand? What is it about the rest that you don’t understand?”

  7. Emma says:

Mmm, no, I clicked on that and learnt no more from what it means! What are referrer statistics? I suppose that is what I don’t understand. I love statistics, can I find out what the stats for my blog are? Etc etc.

  8. Sarah B says:

If you go to my blog and go RIGHT to the bottom of the page you can click on the counter and see the page that gives me MY stats – there’s usually a thing offering you one for your own! I hope that helps.

  9. Emma says:

    Thanks Sarah, woohoo statistics woohoo!

  10. Sarah B says:

Glad to be of service, Emma! Thanks dave for hosting the convo!
