Christmas lights 1

chrismas lights

I know that it is too early for Christmas cartoons but the topic is currently topical. Later on I will post Christmas lights 2 which you can post on your blog as a sign.

Our town lights are due to go on, on 1st December this year. It is probably the Friday before the first of Advent, but I haven’t worked it out. On Saturday 2nd there will be a sale of Fairtrade goods (Traidcraft and Tearcraft) and crafts from Palestine as well as items from at least one charity – if you happen to be in the area.

    Details on my website.

As a sign? A sign of what? The Four Christmas Lights of the Apocalypse?

  3. Tiffer says:

I don’t get it. Why all the overripe pairs?

Careful Dave, we may have to boycott you for switching on the Christmas cartoons too early.

I am not good at answering all comments individually, but today on this thread I will do so.

Thanks Karin – though I suspect we will be in your area before that and after that.

Birdie – I was sort of leaving it open. I’m not sure about Four though. I think this cartoon would be better suited to illustrating the Three Christmas Lights of the Apocalypse or The Five Christmas Lights of the Apocalypse. I think for Four it is not at all suitable.

Tiffer – if it makes no sense it is probably not worth worrying too much. My explaining would ruin the little that is there.

John – you are right of course. Part of the problem is that I am having to think of Christmas related things for elsewhere – not least the subscribers to this site. I will endeavour not to post anything else Christmas-related for a good few weeks unless it is for subscribers.
