Apologies

I’m sorry that the site has been down for the weekend. I’ll say nothing more about it at the moment except that I was aware of the situation but could do nothing about it. I just hope that no subscribers requiring an urgent cartoon have been let down in their hour of need.

All being well normal service will resume tomorrow. As we’ve been away I may be a little behind answering e-mails etc – please bear with me.

Glad to see the Cartoon Blog is up and running again. :)

  2. James says:

Not being able to read the blog was sad – I had to wait until today to find out about ‘peering’. Just goes to show how much, reading the blog has become part of my daily routine!

  3. Richard Hall says:

You think a simple apology is sufficient to heal the deep hurt you have caused through your negligence? You shake my faith in human nature.

  4. Chris Clark says:

I think you should name and shame the ISP that has cut off our source of sanity and refreshment. People from Inverness to Penzance and worldwide have been suffering psychological distress due to their outrageous actions.

I can see that they will face a lot legal claims.
I am thinking of starting CBAG, the Cartoon Blog Action Group..and instigating a class action. I don’t know what a class action is but the americans always do it whenever they get a tad upset….and I am more than a tad upset.

  5. Nefertiki says:

Fine idea, Chris, to instigate a class action suit. But you needn’t concern yourself with any of the details: now that the lawyers know that there’s money to be made, as aggrieved parties we will very shortly be contacted by them and informed that each of is already a Class Action Member. Although we may hire our own attorney we will be responsible for Class Counsel’s reasonable fees and expenses. But I doubt that any financial benefits could compensate for our suffering over an entire weekend.

Also ditto to all above comments.

Ah now I know it was the blog’s fault… I was blaming it on college computers!

And I thought that the previous blog item was related to the downtime and a fervent request!
