Kneelers! I hate em! Our church is infested with the things, and some people, some people INSIST on putting them back in the right places! I ask you!! Life is too short to worry about which pew a certain kneeler belongs in. I’ve only got one thing to say … HASSOCKS!!

…sorry – looks like your cartoon touched a raw nerve …

  2. jody says:

this cartoon made me chuckle – we went to a lovely church a few weeks ago, which had kneelers and my 3 year old son insisted on making them into a tower.

I should be continuing reading Thomas Aquinas, but my brain is exploding – can you do a cartoon about that?

  3. Larry says:

    1 house dust mite reservoirs

2 sources of interesting bacteria and fungi

3 pretty memorials for when you pass away (courtesy of Hoffnung)

4 essential aids to allow correct orthotic posture for prayer

5 optimise the health of your back

6 an important clue to ones identity

7 initiators of conversation with people you wouldn’t otherwise talk to

8 useful for finding your way back to the same pew or realising it isn’t the same pew afterwards

  4. Canadian says:

I never heard of kneelers that aren’t attached to the pew in front of you. What are these moveable kneelers made of and how big are they?

    just love your cartoons

the oxford st one isn’t really appropriate here and in Finland they try to delay lights etc unti Advent – but with the very dark weather people do tend to use ‘Christmas’ kind of lights to bring some light in their yards.

funny we turn off our lights so we can look at our neighbours — is that doing our bit for the environment.

I’d like to link to your advent calander from my blog this year. Is that allowed? Oh and I liked the pear and lights one … lights 1 I think you called it.

    keep cartooning
