Our Deepest Fear
By Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.

We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us;
It's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

I hope that you continue to enjoy your class, at least it sounds like you do. Struggle as I have not to give constructive advise I am unable to resist saying, don't resist any creative impulse that you may have; i.e., if you want to substitute a cucumber or eggplant (marvellous subject with its color and shape) for anything, just do it. And if you want to change the color or size of the bottle, it's your prerogative.

Is it OK that I said that?

I have never understood still life. I assume the bottle was whisky so it came from a still?

Nobody looks that happy and one artist is definitely scribbling. I have nothing against scribbling or whatever they want to do but I am concerned they may not get the most out of the course.

You are obviously the one facing us, so we can't see your picture - I'm disappointed!

okay I have to ask the question:

on the table is said 'bottle, onion and cauliflower', why are some people drawing flowers and cats?
