Railway lamp posts, colours of

lamp posts

Over a period of time I plan to merge my dullest blog and this one by writing about matters of no interest to readers. Today the colour of the lamp posts on the two London to Southend railways was chosen.

Other matters of no consequence:

I don’t know about Benfleet, but it hasn’t got as far as St Anne’s on Sea or Beacon Fell.

it rained in Maidenhead, which, I realise, is neither Benfleet, or, in fact, in Essex at all.

I think you can still be anonymous, should the mood take you….
Rain here in the west is only happening if I’m out on my bike with neither coat nor shelter. You could try that…

I like the fact that this blog post has brought forth some weather reports from around the country.

Jody – I know Maidenhead well.

Kathryn – well, on some blogs but only if the author allows it. It seems now that there are two styles of login page, one that is talking mainly about a Google login and not a Blogger one. That is the one that doesn’t ever work for me.

I hope that you will be reporting on your art course and what you think of it. I know a man who had been doing sketches and cartoons for years, then enrolled in an oil painting class. I asked him whether he thought he had learned anything and he said, no, nothing. He said whenever the instructor looked at his work he’d say just keep on painting what you want. However, after a while I thought his painting had improved a great deal. So maybe he just needed to keep working. And maybe he had to take the course first to learn that.

    LOVE it :)

hey, i know you’ve said you’re in a dry spell at the moment… I was driving today, and had a thought:
what about an image of the 7 Dwarfs…Renamed. with politically incorrect names… or intellectually-creative names… or names that go with a theme (e.g., political or religious) that correspond with their origional personalities? I have some ideas, but don’t want to color your interpretation of the request… please?!?
    :)

Good luck – hope you’re having a good day.

The Blogger login that uses the Google login thing is somehow linked to the Beta version of Blogger. So it sounds like you might be trying to comment on blogs whose bloggers have switched to Blogger’s Beta version.

My blog isn’t one of the Beta version blogs nor will it be anytime soon. I plan on waiting until they get all the bugs worked out and then some. Also, on my blog one doesn’t need to log in to comment, but one does have to wait for me to approve the comment.

(And it’s not like I’m anti-Beta everything, I do use Yahoo Mail Beta.)
