Ladder wanted (Essex)

I need to borrow a ladder and the blog seemed like the natural location to place the advertisement. I need to unclog the guttering ere the winter storms begin. In return I am willing to loan the kind lender one or more of the following items from my box of tools:

    we have lots of ladders you could borrow if you can’t find one nearer than Somerset. could do with borrowing your pliers sometime..

    I’ve got a ladder but I’m not sure how tall you need it. This one is 1.5m tall and allows me to reach up to the top of my wall-hung kitchen units.

    How high up is the guttering on your house?
