Penalty

penalty

You can see a larger version of this cartoon here on CartoonChurch.com. This one isn’t in the book so this is the only place you will find it. A larger high resolution version is available for download by subscribers and those deciding whether they’d like to become subscribers. As with all the other high resolution versions you can download it without a password or anything. I operate an honesty box system whereby I ask people who actually use the images in their publications to buy a licence.

As I mentioned not so long ago I am still way way behind on subscription renewals for which I apologise. I hope to rectify that in the next week or two, but in the meantime if your subscription has expired please do continue to use the cartoons. Thank you.

I Love it! I’ll be using that one :o ) assuming our license is still up to date. Do we get a renewal reminder?

would it be terribly Lynn Truss of me to suggest a possible extra comma in the caption? it would? okay, I’ll leave.

  3. Dave says:

Hi Ash. Hmmm. I suppose it might need an extra comma. It seems so slow and laborious to have it, but if it is what the people demand I may have no choice.

  4. Serena says:

I demand it! Commas in their correct, and necessary, places!

  5. Serena says:

PS: People at Greenbelt kept asking what I was reading as I giggled manically at your book. Thank you :)

  6. Dave says:

Next you’ll all be wanting full stops at the end of sentences.

PS Serena – thank you :)

  7. Dave K says:

I think this may possibly be one of those cases where one could possibly use the very underrated hyphen rather than the terribly common comma.

    Perhaps.
