Free computer

computer

I have things to give away. This is a computer which I no longer have room for. It is a Power Macintosh 7500/100 loaded with Mac OS 8.6 and copies of (let’s do this as a list):

The screen is A 20 inch (I think) ProNitron 20 600. It isn’t a flatscreen so it is quite large and heavy. The programmes are the absolute top of the range for anyone working in design… but they are out of date by a few years. But it might be useful for someone wanting to learn to use a Mac or some of these programmes which is the reason it is in my possession.

If you want it you or someone you know would need to come and pick it up from Essex – the house in Rayleigh where it is is 30 minutes from the M25. I’d be oh so happy if someone wanted it and could come and get it in the next few days, but otherwise we could negotiate collection in September if I can find somewhere to store it which I may or may not be able to do. Let me know if you are at all interested.

I’d like to point out that the bottles of correction fluid seen in the photograph are not included in this offer. The telephone and the small red bucket are up for negotiation.

If anyone would like any of my other possessions let me know in the comments and we can take things from there.

Dave as well as being a fan of your most excellent cartoons (or pictures of traffic jams) I also work in the computer industry.

The Quark Express is eligible for upgrade and hence for someone wanting the latest Quark this is quite valuable. Trade price Quark Express full version £710+ VAT Upgrade £201. Similar things apply to the Adobe stuff I expect. It might help you shift it and even get some cash …

The Mac itself is so old I guess it has very little value.
