As someone who supplements (slightly) his measly youth workers income with clowning and other such activities I am of course highly offended by this out of hand dismissal and put down, I also feel extra got at as I would do a tight rope but for the fact that the above mentioned measly income does not allow me to purchase such equipment, thus you dismiss me on grounds of income and therefore social status, I am appalled that a web site such as this can go around (well obviously as a web site it stays but people come around to it!) casting such a slur on a certain people group merely on a personal preference!
Simon – I think the fact that no-one else has replied to this entry saying they like it proves that you hold the high upper moral ground here.
Consider a slur cast upon me.
Like it – yes
Understand it – no
Dave…mysterious goings on. Bloglines shows 2 posts for you today, but when I click on the links to see them in their entirety, there’s a sad little message telling me that what I am looking for does not exist.
This may of course be a philosophical statement, but I thought you’d like to know anyway.
I feel it’s time I came clean, especially seeing as I have just launched my web page http://www.sillysimon.co.uk. I am Silly Simon an I did actually find the above drawing quite funny!
