Procrastination cartoon

procrastination cartoon

This procrastination cartoon is available for free repostage on your blog at We Blog Cartoons. I’ll add it to the ‘downloads’ section at Cartoonchurch.com if anyone would like me to.

Right, no more procrastination or internet surfing for me today. I’ve got work to do. No time to tell you about the remarkable and unexplained revival in fortunes of Wibsite.com in the UK Christian websites chart. No time to redirect you to Steve Tilley’s post about human evolution. No time to pontificate upon whether the Anglicans are on the brink of schism, the brink of the brink of schism, or the brink of the brink of the brink of schism.

No, not me. I’ve got cartoons to draw. By the way, if anyone has ideas for cartoon subjects for my ‘Guide to the Church’ series that I haven’t yet covered then all sugestions made in the comments will be tremendously welcomed. If you can suggest a funny angle to the subject in question then that’s even better.

Not that I’ll be reading my blog comments today. Oh no, I’ve got work to do.

Go on, stop reading this and draw cartoons. NOW!

  2. Moog says:

I’m not familiar with your guide to church, but the following could do with explaining:

    1. When to stand up/sit/kneel

    2. How to shuffle notice sheet, worship book, additional song sheet, large print song sheet, car advert and ‘iona liturgy’

    3. some of the weird ‘in-betweeny’ church seasons.

    4. praying with powerpoint, is it one eye shut, both eyes closed, squinting through hands, or just despairing at the poor picture alignment and ridiculous flying text on the screen

  3. Emma says:

Hmm, procrastination, that is exactly how I feel today as I re-write my letter of application for the 5 millionth time (possible slight exaggeration). Oh dear, it already is this afternoon…

  4. Nefertiki says:

I’m ready to believe that the end is nigh, but I need to know whether, chronologically speaking, if “nigh” is meant in biblical terms. Such as “day” is [might be] used in Genesis as to the length of time that God was busy creating various things.

I need to know because I have previous engagements.

  5. Nefertiki says:

Congratulations on Wibsite’s high ranking among UK christian websites. Right after Ship of Fools! Excellent.

  6. Dave says:

Just to report: I did two major cartoons today. Thank you Maddie for the encouragement…

Moog – thanks – great stuff.

Emma – every blessing. Sorry, no way to say that without it sounding overly Christian.

Nefertiki – thank you. It is an utter and entire mystery why though.
