Cookham summer FM

clergy djsBefore becoming a cartoonist I worked for the church in Cookham, Berkshire. Today the village launches ‘Cookham Summer FM‘ live from the railway station waiting room which will broadcast for the next month. This is, as far as I am aware only the second time this project has happened, but once again a wide range of people from the community are getting involved. Great to see the clergy (right) all having their own shows.

I’m not sure whether you can listen online or not. If so I couldn’t find the button. But in any case don’t miss endorsements from such people as the the Bishop of Grimsby and Rolf Harris.

Well done to Timmy Mallett and Liz K for getting this off the ground again. Just wish I could be there.

Ooh! I’ll mention it to Ms M. She’s going to be vaguely round there this evening. Can remember when we used to live that way – many moons ago – meeting Rolf Harris in the queue at Maidenhead station Ms M prob about 2 or 4 yrs old . She was thrilled!

That is great and they look like a fine, griendly bunch of clerics. Is there a possibility of them mentioning Dave Walker’s Cartoon Blog on air?
