Farmer Wibblethorpe

This is another of my older cartoons which I’m posting before I remove it from Wibsite.com as part of a grand shake-up. I’m also posting this as I’m having a ‘filing and answering mail’ day and hiding the internet cable away so I can’t use the internet until 5.30pm. Please don’t tell me where I’ve hidden it.

Farmer Wibblethorpe

In fact I have another 11 Farmer Wibblethorpe cartoons I could post, thereby giving me 11 further ‘filing and answering mail’ days.

I can very much identify with Farmer Wibblethorpe – I’ve loads of great schemes (by my standards anyway) in my head (and, in fact, I have a dentist’s appointment later in June).

My favourite of your cartoons is the offertory one where all the stupid people sit on the left. If you do requests, I’d love to see that one again…. I know. I can look in the archives for it.

It’s amazing that you can produce something funny every day – when do they come into your head?

Yes please Dave do post the wibblethorpe cartoons but we’d still like more of the new stuff as well, i’m just greedy really and want it all!

I’d be glad to be reacquainted with Famer Wibblethorpe!

Ah, Farmer Wibblethorpe. You have certainly made happy those of us who can’t recall what we did yesterday but reminisce annoyingly about the Good Old Days as well as younger folk who are happily meeting him for the first time. And who else is there who fell asleep and were overlooked by you when you locked the cellar door and whom we’d like to see again – I foggily recall a rambunctious bunch called the Wibblethorpe Brothers — were they ever drawn by you? Sorry If I’ve spoken out of turn. I probably won’t do it again.

I would very much like to see again, the map of Wibblethorpe, as it was the very thing that actually got me not only wiblogging, but blogging altogether… Is it still around?
