It’s hopeless, Dave. People would line up in a situation similar to the one in your cartoon even if offered only 2 free hours. Remember, “This way to the Egress”? I think there’s more than one born every minute.

You were uncommonly polite at the CRE today, even tho you must have been hot and tired. SO you’re right – it works. (Unless there was a stand I missed selling politeness and you had availed yourself of a special introductory offer.)
