Fun, heartache and faith

My ‘Dave was suprised’ cartoon is used in the Door, which is the Oxford Diocesan paper. It is in an article entitled ‘Fun, heartache and faith – that’s youth ministry‘. My youthworking friends Ian and Sarah are featured. In fact I think they wrote it.

Talking of the Oxford Diocese, those in the mood for something heavier could give the sermon and/or speech entitled Media Atheism by Bishop Richard Harries a go.

Ian and Sarah, I’m not saying that your column is lightweight. I am just saying that the Bishop’s column is heavier as he is a Bishop and so on the next pay scale up.

I write very lightweight columns. You can deduce from that what you will.

Well I think it looks lightweight with the cartoon I had pictures of some paint tins – they were much heavier!

Thanks for pointing this out. I hadn’t noticed it was there!!

I noticed these things because I am still subscribed to the Oxford diocese on Bloglines. There are people who say I subscribe to too many things on Bloglines.

Actually I don’t know if the Church of England in Essex has a subscribe option. I will go and look. One more subscription won’t hurt.

    … and do they?

Hey by the way – did the DOOR pay you for that? Or do they have a licence? Is that way nosey?!
