Let’s embrace

lets embrace

I feel perhaps this might be a good one for a greetings card. Though I don’t know whether it is a sentiment that many would wish to convey on a regular enough basis.

I would like to point out that this drawing was not inspired by David Shrigley’s ‘Let’s wrestle’. I had the idea all by myself and only later realised that the two works both use the word ‘let’s’. Besides, wrestling and embracing are not that similar really.

That’s lovely. The proof that this world needs more hugs is in the fact that Google couldn’t come up with any adverts for this post.

  2. Kristen (Thoughts from the Bus Stop) says:

    Perfect.

  3. Neil says:

Was it inspired by the popular indie band who inspired Coldplay and Keane but never enjoyed the same level of success?

  4. Nefertiki says:

A lovely and charming cartoon. May I suggest an alternate caption for a different kind of reader:

“Please, not so tight! I’m still sore from resurfacing the driveway.”

Thanks all. Maybe I should do more lovely cartoons.
