I’m thinking about putting this on my church resources site CartoonChurch.com, but I think I’d better not. A church magazine editor will publish it, someone will read it and not get the joke and give up going to church and tell their friends too who will also stop going. As a result their church will have a split, and during a scuffle over some disputed church furnishings someone will knock over a tin of altar-rail polish onto someone’s best bowls-club jacket and I will get sent the laundry bill. You mark my words.
This was sort of inspired by a train of thoughts set in motion by reading Birdie’s blog, but also a product of having some thinking time whilst walking down to the Jet petrol station to make unrelated enquiries about an unconnected matter.
