Collection plates

I have to say I am quite pleased with this one. I’m not sure whether it is offensive to stupid people though. If you are stupid and feel that I am poking fun at you unfairly do feel free to get in touch.

perhaps a comment about the orderly would be more funny, because one expects a comment about the crazy maze. or a comparison between the two (eg. postmodern side, modern side). Good idea though!

  2. Richard says:

    Blimey! That church is full!!!

  3. Ben Gallagher says:

In my church there would be an extension to the line just before it gets to the alter that dashes into one of the transepts to ‘collect’ from the forgotten part of the congregation.

If there are children doing the collection, then there would also be a line leading to the organist as well. It would hang around there for a bit before the child realised that playing the organ and simultaneously reaching into your back pocket for some change is an impossible task (believe me, I’ve tried).

  4. Tiffer says:

This is one of my favorite cartoons to date – absolutely brilliant. Stupid people are the best people to make fun of because they don’t usually realise it (oh I am so mean!!!)

Thanks everyone. As I said I’m quite pleased with this one. The sort of quite good idea that doesn’t come often enough.
