I was just doing a play on words. I think. My cartoons rarely involve anything other than sheep - and the most ethnically un-diverse sheep you can get to boot. I think you are reading things into it which aren't there. Well, certainly not intentionally there. There is of course an interesting discussion which one could have about how people of different complexion or race are depicted in a cartoon style that uses no shading. Perhaps one for another day.
