Lent cartoons

ash wednesday

I’m not sure about this one. I’ll post it on the main site later on if no-one objects.

My Church Times Lent cartoon is here too for those that don’t mind peering closely at the screen. (The booklets in the bottom right hand cartoon say ‘Lent Course’ on them.)

Apologies to anyone who is checking the site in vain for new worksheets. They are one of a number of things that haven’t been happening very well in recent months for reasons that I don’t really want to post here. I do hope to address this issue soon, but in the meantime please feel free to send me an angry e-mail about it.

    Ha!

    I like.

Ah – now this must be an Anglican joke… which Baptist don’t get (not this Baptist, anyhow). What’s a clerical attendee?

(‘That would be an ecumenincal matter…’ Fr Ted)

    Kristen,

Yes, this is why I fear this cartoon has a mild element of lame-itude. It is just a clerical person attending the Ash Wednesday service, rather than a special Anglican term. It needs a better phrase involving the word ‘clerical’ really, I just haven’t thought of one.

Yes, Father Ted. There hasn’t been enough Father Ted on this blog yet has there.
