Confusing future generations

my number
Future generations who happen upon this inscription in a notebook of mine will no doubt be confused. “People in the 2000ses were allotted a four digit number” they will think. Indeed we were, but surely our four digit numbers were secret ones that we did not write in the front of our notebooks. There will be much discussion and perhaps a television programme to be shown on ITV37 or a similar lesser channel of the time.

Have you left any bewildering marks, messages or other signs which will baffle those who inhabit this earth in generations to come? They do not have to involve notebooks or numbers. In fact it is probably better that they don’t. We do not want our descendants to be overly perplexed.

  1. Daniel says:

I found a peice of paper on which I had written,

“looking for stars in the daytime = shooting elephants”.

I have given this bold declaration some thought and I have no idea what I meant by it.
